Michael J. Murphy 57 of Gentry passed away March 3, 2013 in Fayetteville. He was born March 27, 1955 in Fairbanks, Alaska the son of John and Nancy McDowell Murphy. He retired from the United States Customs Department and served in the United States Army. Michael was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survived by his wife Teresa Dawn Murphy of the home; children Bradford Murphy, Cody Murphy, Melanie Burgess, Amber Perkins, Jessica Cornett, Kellie Plummer and Casey Rae; his brother Jim and two sisters Karen and Maurine; and fourteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Street, Rogers with full military honors. Interment in the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Online condolence to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com
